Create Your Own Finger Labyrinth – Meditative Art

Please join us to create your very own finger labyrinth!

We are all on our path and a labyrinth is a beautiful way to invite stillness, reflection, connection, clarity and love. The labyrinth is a reflection of this path and has been a meditative tool used throughout the centuries to aid in developing self awareness & spiritual growth. The path winds throughout and becomes a mirror for where we are in our lives; it touches our sorrows and releases our joys. The centre connects to our own centre and our intuition is brought forward.

We are delighted to have Karolynn Vaisenan lead us in creating our very own finger labyrinth. Karolynn has been an artist her entire life and creates pieces inspired by both dream life and waking experiences.

We will be creating our labyrinths using water colours (to paint our piece), and hot glue (to define our labyrinth design). We will also have twine on hand. You will be able to choose a maze design from two to three templates. Absolutely no experience necessary. In fact, one of Karolynn’s gifts is to intuitively help others express their creativity through art.

Tanya Porter will lead us through a meditation using our labyrinths. The artwork alone will be meditative in of itself so this evening will be one of creative gentleness. Casandra will also provide a brief history of the labyrinth, and how you use a finger labyrinth.
